AMENDMENT OF THE MEAT REGULATIONS.

Regulation 10 of the Meat Regulations is amended— Branding.

(a) by omitting sub-regulation (1.) and inserting in its stead

the following sub-regulation :—
" (1.) Wben a Meat Inspector passes meat as fit for human consumption, the Meat Inspector or a person authorized by him in that behalf, shall brand the meat with the prescribed brand, and in the manner prescribed."; and

(b) by inserting in sub-regulation (4.), after the word " Inspector ", the words " or a person authorized by a Meat Inspector in that behalf ".
