Regulation under the Leases Ordinance 1918-1958.*

I ALLEN FAIRHALL, the Minister of State for the Interior, hereby make , the following Regulation under the Leases Ordinance 1918-1958.

AMENDMENT OF THE LEASES REGULATIONS 1929.1

After regulation 5 of the Leases Regulations 1929 the following regulation is inserted:—

" 5 A . — ( 1 . ) The period for which a lease may be granted for grazing, Period of lease.

fruit-growing, horticultural, dairying or agricultural purposes is a period
not exceeding fifty years.

" (2.) The period for which a lease may be granted for a purpose other than a purpose specified in the last preceding sub-regulation is a period not exceeding ninety-nine years.".
