A M E N D M E N T OF THE HEALTH COMMISSION (CHARGES)

REGULATIONS 2

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 15 March 1979.

2. Regulation 2 of the Health Commission (Charges) Regulations is amended by omitting " 1 July 1978" from the definition of "standard medical benefits t a b l e " and substituting" 15 March 1979".

3. (1) Notwithstanding the amendment effected by regulation 2, the prescribed charge, for the purpose of sub-section 74 (1) of the Ordi­ nance, for a professional service, being a service the provision of which began before the commencement of these Regulations, is the amount that would have been payable for that service if these Regulations had not been made.

(2) In this regulation, "professional service" and " the Ordinance" have the same respective meanings as in the Health Commission (Charges) Regulations, as amended by these Regulations.
