Amendment of the Garbage Regulations (ACT)

Regulations under the Building and Services Ordinance

1924-1938.

T VICTOR CHARLES THOMPSON, a Member of the Federal A, Executive Council, acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for the Interior, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Building and Services Ordinance 1924-1938, hereby mate the following Regulations.

AMENDMENT OF THE GARBAGE REGULATIONS.

1. Regulation 2 of the Garbage Regulations is amended— Definition*.

(a) by omitting from the definition of " Authorized Officer"

the word "Commission" and inserting in its stead the

word " Minister " ; and

(b) by omitting from the definition of " Occupier" the word " 'Commission" and inserting in its stead the word " Commonwealth ".

2. The Garbage Regulations are amended as respectively specified in the second column of the Schedule to these Regulations opposite the regulation in the first column of that Schedule.
