*•, in pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Canberra University College Ordinance 1929-1940, hereby make the following Regulations to come into operation forthwith.

A M E N D M E N T OF T H E C A N B E R R A U N I V E R S I T Y OOLLEGK

R E G U L A T I O N S .

1. After regulation 3 of the Canberra University College Regula- tions the following regulation is inserted :—

" 4 . If, in the opinion of the Council, the number of applicants for any course of lectures exceeds, or is likely to exceed, the number of students for whom adequate accommodation and teaching facilities are available, the Council may, from time to time, having regard to the accommodation and teaching facilities available, fix it) respect of any year the number of students who may be admitted to that course in that year, and make provision for the selection, from among the applicants, of the students to be admitted.".
