•J-, Executive Council, acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for the Interior, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the Building and Services Ordinance 1924-1938, hereby make the following Eegulations.

A M E N D M E N T OE T H E C A N B E B B A B U I L D I N G

E E G U L A T I O N S .

Application of	1. Begulatiou 3 of the Canberra Building Eegulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the words "Federa l Capital Commission " (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the word " Minister ".
Regulations.
Definitions.	2. Regulation 4 of the Canberra Building Eegulations is amended by omitting the definition of " the City A r e a " and inserting in its stead the following definition :—

" ' tho City A r e a ' means the City Area within the meaning of

the Oily Area Leases Ordinance 1936-1938;".

Biilldcra'	3. Eegulation 1 of the Canberra Building Eegulations is amended
Licence?.	by omitting from sub-regulation (In . ) the word "Commiss ion" and inserting in its stead the word " Minister ".
Height of	4. Regulation 20 of the Canberra Building Eegulations is amended
buildings.	by omitting the word " Commission" and inserting in its stead the word " Minister ".

(a ) by omitting from the headings to Forms A to I , inclusive,

the words " Federal Capital Commission " ;

(6) by omitting from Form A the words "Fede ra l Capital

Commission" (second occurring) and inserting in their

stead the words "Department, of the I n t e r i o r " ;

(c) by omitting from Form B the words "Fede ra l Capital Commission" (second occurring) and inserting in their stead the words " Department of the Interior " ;

(g) by omitting from Form H the words "Fede ra l Capital Commission" (second occurring) and inserting in their stead the words " Department of the Interior ".
