and Services Ordinance 1924-1938, hereby make the following

A M E N D M E N T OF T H E C A N B E R R A AND J E R V I S BAY
E L E C T R I C S U P P L Y R E G U L A T I O N S .

1. Regulation 6A of the Canberra and Jervis Bay Electric Supply

Regulations is amended—

(a) by inserting after sub-regulation ( 6 B . ) the following sub-

regulation :—

" (6c.) The rates chargeable for the supply of electricity charges for

to a school used for both day and boarding pupils shall church'"'
be in accordance with the rates prescribed under these school,

Provided that the number of units in respect of the school which may be charged for as primary units during any month shall be ascertained by 'multiplying the number of hours each portion of the building is utilized during that month by seventy-five per centum of the floor area.";

(b) by inserting in the definition of " commercial premises" in sub-regulation (9.) , after the word " schoo l " , the words " (other than a school used for both day and boarding pupils) " ; and

(c) by inserting in the definition of " floor area " in that sub- regulation, after the words " domestic premises", the words " and of a school used for both day and boarding pupils ".

Regulations is amended by omitting from paragraph (a) the figure and'electric*68 2. Regulation 6B of the Canberra and Jervis Bay Electric Supply Hire of
" 7 " and inserting in its stead the letter " (q) ". water heaters.

3. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation Commencement.
