Regulations under the Advisory Council

y Ordinance 1936-1952, hereby make the following Regulations.

A M E N D M E N T O F T H E ADVISORY C O U N C I L E L E C T I O N

R E G U L A T I O N S .

1. Regulation 3 of the Advisory Council Election Regulations IS Definitions,

amended by omitting from the definition of " E l e c t i o n " in sub-regula-

tion (1.) the word " t h r e e " .

2. Regulation 30 of the Advisory Council Election Regulations is Declaration

amended by omitting the word " t h r e e " and inserting in its stead the camUdates

word " five ". only-

3. Regulation 31 of the Advisory Council Election Regulations is Poll to be

amended bv omitting the word " t h r e e " and inserting in its stead the thanflve"10'6

l ^ o r d " five'". candidates.

4. The Schedule to the Advisory Council Election Regulations is The Schedule,

amended—

(a ) by omitting from Form 4 the words " three members of the Advisory Council for the Australian Capital Territory, to serve from the day of their election or the day imme- diately following the day on which their predecessors cease to hold office, whichever last happens " and inserting in their stead the words " five members of the Advisory Council for the Australian Capital Terri tory to hold office for a period of two years from the first day of October.

(b) by omitting from Form 8 the word " Three " and inserting

in its stead the word " Five " ;

(c) by omitting Form 9 and inserting in its stoad the following
