A M E N D M E N T OF T H E A D O P T I O N OF C H I L D R E N R U L E S .

Rule 12 of the Adoption of Children Rules is amended— H»gMr»tion

(a) by omitting the words " A n y person may obtain a copy of any such Memorandum on payment of the sum of One shilling."; and

(b) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-rule:—

" (2.) The entries in the Register of Adoption Orders arc not open to inspection except in pursuance of an order made by a court of competent jurisdiction and a copy of, or extract from, a Memorandum of Registration of Adoption Order entered in the Register shall not be furnished to a person except in pursuance of such an order.".
