Amendment of Statement of Principles

concerning

POLYCYTHAEMIA VERA

Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986

and

Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004

1. The Repatriation Medical Authority amends, under subsection 196B(2) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986, Instrument No. 11 of 2001, by:

(a)deleting the words “Instrument No. 11 of 2000” in the Instrument title and substituting the words “Instrument No. 11 of 2001”.

2. The amendment made by this instrument applies to all matters to which Instrument No. 78 of 1999, as amended by Instrument No. 11 of 2001, section 120A of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 and section 338 of the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 apply.

3.         The amendment made by this instrument takes effect from 28 September 2005.
