Amendment of Statement of Principles

concerning

MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS

Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986

1. The Repatriation Medical Authority amends, under subsection 196B(2) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 (the Act), Instrument No.44 of 2002 by:

A.in paragraph 8, deleting the definition of “organic solvents” and inserting in its place the following:

“‘organic solvents’ means:

(i)chlorinated organic solvents,

(ii)aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents,

(iii)aromatic hydrocarbon solvents, or

(iv)oxygenated organic solvents;”

2. The amendment made by this instrument applies to all matters to which Instrument No.44 of 2002 and section 120A of the Act apply.
