Amendment Statement of Principles

concerning

MACULAR DEGENERATION

No. 68 of 2012

for the purposes of the

Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986

and

Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004

1. This Instrument may be cited as Statement of Principles concerning macular degeneration No. 68 of 2012.

1. In accordance with the Specialist Medical Review Council Declaration No. 16 of 27 March 2012 under subsection 196W(4) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act1986 (the VEA), the Repatriation Medical Authority amends, pursuant to subsection 196B(10) of the VEA, Statement of Principles concerning macular degeneration Instrument No. 13 of 2009, as amended by Instrument No. 47 of 2012, by renumbering factor "(fa)" in clause 6 as factor "(aa)".

1. The amendment made by this instrument applies to all matters to which Instrument No. 13 of 2009, as amended by Instrument No. 47 of 2012, section 120A of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 and section 338 of the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004 apply.

1. The amendment made by this instrument takes effect from 4April 2012.
