I ; Federal Executive Council, acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for the Interior, in pursuance of the powers conferred by the
Seat of Government (Administration) Ordinance 1930 and the Public
Health Ordinance 1928-1930, hereby make the following Regulation.

A M E N D M E N T OE P U B L I C H E A L T H ( I N F E C T I O U S
D I S E A S E S ) P E C U L A T I O N S .

After regulation 8 of the Public Health (Infectious Diseases) Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—

" 8 A . — (1.) Where any person under the age of 21 years who has Minors

at any time since the first day of July 1937 resided in the State of v^ct£iIfrom

Victoria is, at any time after the commencement of this regulation, residing in the Territory, the occupier of the house in which he is residing shall forthwith notify the fact to the Medical Officer of Health, and the person so residing shall be deemed to be a contact for the purposes of regulation 8 of these Regulations.

(2.) Where any such person attends any school in the Territory the head teacher of the school shall forthwith notify the fact to the Medical Officer of Health.

(3.) This regulation shall continue in force until the thirt ieth day of September, 1937."
