PUESTJA!N~T to the powers conferred upon it bythe Leases Ordinance 1918-1927, the Federal Capital Commission, appointed under the Seat of Government {Administration) Act 1924-1928, hereby makes
the following Eegulations to come into force forthwith.

AMENDMENT OP LEASES EEGULATIONS 1919.

1. Eegulation 8 of the Leases Eegulations 1919 is repealed, and the

following Eegulation is inserted in its stead:—

" 8 . No person shall hold under lease land of a greater assessed

value than £8,000 (exclusive of the value of buildings, fences, dams,

ground tanks, wells, and bores.)

' Assessed value' for the purposes of this Eegulation shall mean

Authorised by the ACT Parliamentary Counsel—also accessible at

the assessed value as at the date of commencement of the lease.
