Amendment of Education Regulations (ACT)

Regulations under the Education Ordinance 1928-1930.

I , pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Scat of

Government (Administration) Ordinance 1930-1933 and by the

Education	Ordinance	1928-1930,	hereby	make	the	following
Regulations.

A M E E D M E E T OE E D U C A T I O N R E G U L A T I O N S .

Definitions. 1. Regulation 3 of the Education Regulations is amended by omitting the definition of " Attendance Officer " and inserting in its stead the following definition::—

" ' Attendance Inspec tor ' means the Attendance Inspector appointed 'by the Minister in pursuance of these Regula- tions ; " .

2. The Education Regulations are amended by inserting in P a r t I I . thereof the following regulations:—

Appointment of	" 3A. The Minister may appoint a person to be the Attendance " 3B. A prosecution under the Ordinance may be instituted by, or in the name of, the Attendance Inspector or such other person as the Minister authorizes in writing.".

4. Regulation 11 of the Education Regulations is repealed and the following regulation inserted in its stead:—

Any written excuse or medical certificate received by the teacher from parent or "uardian in regard to the child concerning whom action is recommended should he attached°to this Form.
