PURSUANT, to the powers conferred upon it by the City Area Leases' Ordinance 1924-1926, the Federal Capital Commission, :

appointed under- the Seat of Government (Administration)- Act. 1924- 1926, hereby makes the; following Regulation, to come into operation

AMENDMENT op CITY AREA LEASES REGULATIONS.

After regulation 7 of the City Area Leases Regulations the following regulation is inserted:— . . . . . . .

" 7A.—(1) Where in any lease, whether granted before or after the commencement of this Regulation, power is given to the Commonwealth to determine the lease, tha t power may be exercised by the Federal Determination

Capital Commission as fully and effectually as if the power was conferred of-Leases: on the Federal Capital Commission by the lease.

" (2) Every such determination shall be notified in the Gazette and that notification, shall be conclusive evidence of the lease having been determined.	."
" (3) The Secretary to the Federal Capital Commission shall; by prepaid letter addressed to the lessee at his usual or last known address, send to every lessee whose lease has been. determined notice of the determination."
