By-laws under the Canberra Community Hospital
Board Ordinance 1935-1936.
PURSUANT to tbe powers conferred upon it by the Canberra Community Hospital Board Ordinance, 1935-1936, the Canberra Community Hospital Board hereby makes the following amendments to by-laws. Dated this fourth day of January, 1937.

A M E N D M E N T OF CANBERRA COMMUNITY H O S P I T A L
BY-LAWS.
1. By deleting from Par t I I I . relating to Visiting Medical Officers,
By-law No. 8, the following words:—
" The decision of the Medical Superintendent as to whether the
patient is to bo discharged shall be final.",
and inserting in their.stead the following:- — .
" T h e Visiting Medical Officer shall report further as and when
required by the Medical Superintendent.".
2. By deleting from " P a r t X.—Scale of Charges" the words " Charges specified under E., F . and G. shall be subject to 33;\ per cent, reduction to those persons eligible for benefits under action 17 of the Ordinance." and inserting in their stead the following:—•
" CONCESSIONS TO CONTRIBUTORS.
Persons eligible for benefits under section sevente-en of the Ordinance shall be entitled to the following reductions in the charges specified under E., F . and (x.:—
Uiider E. and G.—One-third reduction; and
Under F .
—Two-thirds reduction provided that, where, in the opinion of the Visiting Medical Officer or Medical Superintendent, it is necessary to repeat any radiographic examination, no further fee shall be charged in respect of any subsequent examination.".
