P U R S U A N T to the powers conferred uppn ifc by the Building and

Services Ordinance 1924-1925, the Federal Capital Commission, appointed under the Seat of Government (Administration) Act 1924- 1926, hereby makes the following Regulation, to come into operation forthwith.

AMENDMENT OF CANBERRA BUILDING REGULATIONS.

Regulation 3 of the Canberra Building Regulations is amended-^ (b) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regula^

" (2) I n the application of these Regulations outside the City Area, the Federal Capital Commis- sion may in any case direct . tha t the Regula- tions shall apply with such modifications and adaptations as the Federal Capital Commis- sion thinks fit, and the Regulations shall thereupon apply in that case accordingly."

2. Regulation 48 of the Canberra Building Regulations is amended by inserting in sub-regulation (2) after the word " Bathrooms " the words " and water closets,"
