OTHER GRANTS GUIDELINES

Making of Guidelines pursuant to section 238-10 of the Higher Education Support Act 2003

I, JULIE BISHOP, Minister for Education, Science and Training, pursuant to section 238-10 of the Higher Education Support Act 2003, make the attached amendment to the Other Grants Guidelines for the purposes of Part 2-3 of the Act.

Amendments to Other Grants Guidelines

GUIDELINES FOR OTHER GRANTS 2006

Amendment Number 7

(i)         CITATION

These guidelines may be cited as Amendment No. 7 to the Other Grants Guidelines 2006.

(ii)        AUTHORITY

These guidelines are made under section 238-10 of the Higher Education Support Act 2003.

(iii)       DATE OF EFFECT

These guidelines shall take effect the day after registration on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.

PURPOSE

• The purpose of this instrument is to amend the Other Grants Guidelines 2006 registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments on 22 November 2006.

• The Other Grants Guidelines are amended as follows:

Item 9.20.1 – Three bodies corporate are added to the list of bodies corporate that are eligible to receive CASR grants:

(xiv)        Australian Power Institute Ltd;

(xv)         International Water Centre Pty Ltd; and

(xvi)        the Australian Association of Graduate Employers Ltd.
