1Objective

The objective of these Regulations is to revoke the Ambulance Services (Exemption) Regulations 2004.

2Authorising provision

These Regulations are made under section 40 of the Ambulance Services Act 1986.

3Commencement

These Regulations come into operation on 1 November 2012.

4Revocation of Ambulance Services (Exemption) Regulations 2004

The Ambulance Services (Exemption) Regulations 2004[1] are revoked.

1.     General Information

The Ambulance Services (Exemption) Revocation Regulations 2012, S.R. No. 116/2012 were made on 23 October 2012 by the Governor in Council under section 40 of the Ambulance Services Act 1986, No. 114/1986 and came into operation on 1 November 2012: regulation 3.

The Ambulance Services (Exemption) Revocation Regulations 2012 will sunset 10 years after the day of making on 23 October 2022 (see section 5 of the Subordinate Legislation Act 1994).
