Ambulance Service Regulations 2006
I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, make the following regulations under the Ambulance Service Act 1982 .20 November 2006

1Short titleThese regulations may be cited as the Ambulance Service Regulations 2006 . 2CommencementThese regulations take effect on the day on which their making is notified in the Gazette. 3Payment to volunteersThe Director, with the approval of the Minister, may pay to any person in respect of voluntary services rendered by that person to the Director any amount the Director considers reasonable in a manner the Director considers appropriate. 4Reimbursing honorary ambulance officersThe Director, on the recommendation of the regional ambulance superintendent, may reimburse an honorary ambulance officer who has incurred out-of-pocket expenses whilst providing ambulance services any amount the Director considers appropriate. 5Legislation rescindedThe legislation specified in Schedule 1 is rescinded.
