An Act to amend the Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts Agreement Act 1966

Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:

1Short titleThis Act may be cited as the Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts Agreement Amendment Act 2000 . 2CommencementThis Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent. 3Principal ActIn this Act, the Allport Library and Museum of Fine Arts Agreement Act 1966 is referred to as the Principal Act. 4Section 6 insertedAfter section 5 of the Principal Act , the following section is inserted: 6Display out of Tasmania Notwithstanding the agreement, the Board may display in, or lend to, any institution out of Tasmania any item or items in the collection on a temporary basis.
