STATUTORY RULES.
REGULATIONS UNDER THE ALIENS ACT 1947-1952.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the

Amendments of the Aliens Regulations.
“(4.) A notification by an alien, being a notification referred to in the preceding provisions of this regulation, shall be in writing in accordance with so much of Form 5 as is applicable in the circumstances of the case and shall be forwarded—
(
a ) where the place of residence of the alien is in a State or the Northern Territory—to the Commonwealth Migration Officer in the State or the Northern Territory, as the case may be; or(
b ) where the place of residence of the alien is in the Australian Capital Territory—to the Secretary to the Department of Immigration.”.
