ALBANY CEMETERY BOARD BY-LAW AMENDMENT 2016

Under the powers conferred by the Cemeteries Act 1986 and all other powers enabling it, the Albany

Cemetery Board resolved on June 22nd 2016 to make the following by-law amendment-

1. Citation

This by-law may be cited as the Albany Cemetery Board By-Law Amendment 2016.

2. Commencement

This by-law comes into operation 14 days after the date of its publication in the Government Gazette.

3. Principal by-law amended
This by-law amends the Albany Cemetery Board By-law as published in the Government Gazette on

July 31st 1997.

4. Clause 46 amended

Clause 46 is amended as follows—

(a) In subclause (1)(b) after the word 'foundation' insert "unless a concrete beam is already provided by the Cemetery Board.";

(b) In subclause (1)(c)(iv) delete "860mm and 250mm" and replace with "915mm and 300mm";

(c) In subclause (1)(c)(v)(A) delete "2315mm" and replace with "2135mm";

(d) In subclause (1)(c)(v)(B) change to (1)(c)(v)(C) and add subclause (1)(c)(v)(B) to read "The Headstone shall not exceed 2135mm and 300mm width";

5. Clause 47 deleted.

Clause 47 is deleted.
