(U2016/13988)

COMMISSIONER RYAN

MELBOURNE, 22 FEBRUARY 2017

Permission granted for respondent to be represented by lawyer.

[1] The Respondent has sought permission to be represented by a lawyer pursuant to s.596 of the Act. The Applicant, who is self represented, opposes the grant of permission.

[2] Having considered the arguments of both the respondent and the applicant, I determine that permission should be granted to the respondent to be legally represented pursuant to s.596(2)(a) of the Act.

[3] My reasons for this decision will be given in transcript on 28 February 2017.
