Airports Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, WILLIAM PATRICK DEANE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Airports Act 1996.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 July 1998.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Airports Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3. Regulation 2.01A (Airports to which Part 2 of the Act applies)

3.1   After paragraph 2.01A (a), insert:

  1. “(aa)

    Bankstown Airport;

  2. (ab)

    Camden Airport;”.

3.2   After paragraph 2.01A (b), insert:

  1. “(ba)

    Hoxton Park Airport;”.

4.   Regulation 5.01A (Airports to which Part 5 of the Act applies)

4.1   After paragraph 5.01A (a), insert:

  1. “(aa)

    Bankstown Airport;

  2. (ab)

    Camden Airport;”.

4.2   After paragraph 5.01A (b), insert:

  1. “(ba)

    Hoxton Park Airport;”.

5.   Regulation 7.05 (Auditor’s certificate)

5.1   Subregulation 7.05 (1):

Omit “60 days”, substitute “90 days”.

6.   Regulation 12.01 (Airports to which Part 12 of the Act applies)

6.1   After paragraph 12.01 (a), insert:

  1. “(aa)

    Bankstown Airport;

  2. (ab)

    Camden Airport;”.

6.2   After paragraph 12.01 (b), insert:

  1. “(ba)

    Hoxton Park Airport;”.

7.   Schedule 2 (Performance indicators)

7.1   Omit the Schedule, substitute:

2.Relating to gates and aircraft parking:

Any change over time in number of bays

2.2

The change over time in satisfaction with the system, according to a questionnaire to airlines about the availability and adequacy of parking facilities and bays, and the designated bay area

3.Relating to aerobridges:

3.1

Any change over time in percentage of passengers using aerobridges for embarkation
