1Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Air Transport Regulation 2006.

2Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 2006.

3Definitions

In this Regulation:

quarter means the period of 3 months ending on 30 September, 31 December, 31 March or 30 June.

Sydney-linked route means any route that begins or ends at, or passes through, Sydney (Kingsford-Smith) Airport.

the Act means the Air Transport Act 1964.

4Statistical information to be provided(1)

A person involved in the operation or provision of air transport services within New South Wales must, within 6 weeks after the end of each quarter, provide information to the Director-General as to the total number of passengers carried by the person during that quarter over each Sydney-linked route over which the person operates or provides those services.

(2)

Compliance with the requirements of this clause may be made a condition of a licence granted under section 6 of the Act.
