TEMPORARY RECLASSIFICATION OF AIRSPACE

  1. Commencement

This instrument commences on 23 February 2007 and will remain in force until midnight on 30th June 2007.

2.         Interpretation

The following volume of Class C Airspace described in Attachment A is temporarily reclassified as Class G Airspace to accommodate Glider Flying operations.

INSTRUMENT OF DECLARATION – RECLASSIFICATION OF AIRSPACE

LATERAL LIMITS:   Straight lines joining 37 34 36S 144 13 18E, 37 36 24S 144 20 00E, 37 43 00S 144 20 00E, 37 43 00S 144 13 00E thence along the minor arc of a circle of 30nm radius centred on 37 39 36S 144 50 32E (ML DME) to37 34 36S 144 13 18E.

VERTICAL LIMITS:                           4500 – 5500 AMSL

RECLASSIFICATION PERIOD:      NOTAM

REASON:   Glider Flying

AIR TRAFFIC SERVICES:              The air traffic services provided in the

declared airspace will be Class G.
