Air Navigation Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Air Navigation Act 1920.

Principal Regulations

1. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Air Navigation Regulations.

Protective service officers may enter designated airports

2. Regulation 310 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting “services officer” and substituting “service officer”.

Authorised persons—appointment etc.

3. Regulation 311 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from subregulation (1) “of this division” and substituting “of this Division”.

Discharge of firearms

4. Regulation 315aa of the Principal Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting subregulation (2);

(b) by inserting after paragraph (3) (c) the following paragraph:

“(ca) a protective service officer;”;

(c) by inserting in subparagraph (3) (f) (iii) “(ca),” after “(c),”.
