(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Air Navigation (Charges) Act 1952.

Principal Regulations

1. In these Regulations, “Principal Regulations” means the Air Navigation (Charges) Regulations.

Interpretation

2. Regulation 2 of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting in subregulation (1) the following definition:

“ ‘weight’, in relation to an aircraft, means the weight set out in the certificate of airworthiness of, or the flight manual for, the aircraft as the maximum take-off weight.”.

Special arrangements for use of aerodromes

3. Regulation 16 of the Principal Regulations is amended by omitting from subregulation (6) “were provided or services” and substituting “or services were provided”.

Minor amendments

4. The Principal Regulations are amended as set out in the Schedule.

SCHEDULE Regulation 4

MINOR AMENDMENTS

1. The Principal Regulations are amended by omitting from each of the following provisions “kilogrammes” and substituting “kilograms weight”:

Subregulation 12 (2), table at the foot of subregulation 12 (2), paragraph 12 (6) (d) (first occurring).

2. The Principal Regulations are amended by omitting from paragraph 12 (6) (d) “kilogrammes” (second occurring) and substituting “kilograms”.

3. The Principal Regulations are amended by omitting from subregulation 12a(1) “weighing more than 45,000 kilogrammes” and substituting “of more than 45,000 kilograms weight”.
