Air Navigation (Charges) Regulations 2(Amendment)

  

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Air Navigation (Charges) Act 1952.

1.   Commencement

 

1.1   These Regulations commence on l February 1991.

 

2.   Amendment

 

2.1    The Air Navigation (Charges) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

  

3.   Regulation 2 (Interpretation)

 

3.1   Subregulation 2 (1) (definition of “international operation”):

Omit the definition.

 

3.2   Subregulation 2 (1) (definition of “landing charge”):

Omit “the table at the foot of subregulation 12 (2)”, substitute “the Schedule”.

 

4.   Regulation 2AA (Charges not payable—use by aircraft of Federal airports)

 

4.1   Omit the regulation.

 

5.   Regulation 12 (Landing charges)

 

5.1   Subregulation 12 (2):

Omit the subregulation, substitute:

“(2)

Subject to this regulation and regulation 16, there is payable in respect of an aircraft landing at an aerodrome referred to in Column 2 of an item in the Schedule a charge calculated at the rate per 1,000 kilograms weight specified in Column 3 of the item in that Schedule.”.

 

5.2   Subregulation 12 (3):

Omit the subregulation.

 

5.3   Paragraph 12 (6) (d):

Omit “the table at the foot of subregulation (2)”, substitute “the Schedule”.

 

6.   Regulation 12A (Additional landing charge)

 

6.1   Omit the regulation.

 

7.   Schedule 2

 

7.1   Omit the Schedule, substitute:
