Air Navigation (Charges) Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Air Navigation (Charges) Act 1952.

After regulation 12 of the Air Navigation (Charges) Regulations the following regulation is inserted:

Additional landing charge

“12a. (1) Where a landing charge under regulation 12 is payable by a person, in respect of the landing at any time within the prescribed period of an aircraft weighing more than 45,000 kilogrammes and operated by the holder of an airline licence (other than an international airline licence), there is payable by that person in respect of that landing of that aircraft an additional charge of an amount equal to 15% of the amount of that landing charge.

“(2) In this regulation, ‘prescribed period’ means the period commencing on the day on which this regulation comes into operation and ending on the expiration of 30 June 1987.”.
