Air Navigation (Aerodrome Curfew) Regulations 2(Amendment)

  

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Air NavigationAct 1920.

1.   Commencement

1.1   Regulation 4 is taken to have commenced on 6 February 1992.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Air Navigation (Aerodrome Curfew) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

  

3.

Regulation 6 (Curfew)

3.1   Paragraph 6 (9) (a):

Omit “14”, substitute “9”.

 

3.2   Subregulation 6 (9):

After paragraph 6 (9) (b), insert:

 “and (c) subject to subregulation 6 (9a), operations by Mayne Nickless Limited may include not more than 12 aircraft movements by aircraft of the kind known as DC9;”.

 

3.3   After subregulation 6 (9), insert:

 “(9a) Paragraph 6 (9) (c) does not apply to an aircraft referred to in that paragraph unless the aircraft complies with the relevant requirements in relation to noise levels specified in chapter 3 of Part II of Volume I of the Annex in respect of its classification in that Part.”.

  

4.   Regulation 7 (Runways)

4.1   Subregulation 7 (2):

Omit “taxiway C”, substitute “taxiway G”.
