REGULATIONS UNDER THE AIR FORCE ACT 1923-1965.*

Amendments of the Air Force Regulations
(
a ) by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the words " lent, exchanged or sold " and inserting in their stead the words " transferred, exchanged, sold or otherwise disposed of "; and(
b )by omitting sub-regulations (2.), (3.), (4.) and (5.) and inserting in their stead the following sub-regulation:—" (2.) In this regulation, ' Government stores ' means chattels the property of the Commonwealth that are in the possession or under the control of the Air Force or a part of the Air Force.".

(2.) Living out away from home allowance is payable to an Air Vice-Marshal or an Air Commodore, in accordance with the provisions of the Air Force Regulations and of the conditions determined by the Air Board for the purposes of regulation 568 of those Regulations, at the appropriate rate specified in the table inserted in regulation 568 of the Air Force Regulations by the last preceding sub-regulation in respect of service in the Air Force on and after the seventh day of March, 1966.

(2.) Lodging allowance is payable to an Air Vice-Marshal or an Air Commodore, in accordance with the provisions of the Air Force Regulations and the conditions determined by the Air Board for the purposes of regulation 570 of those Regulations, at the appropriate rate specified in the table inserted in regulation 570 of the Air Force Regulations by the last preceding sub-regulation in respect of service in the Air Force on and after the seventh day of March, 1966.

(2.) Regulation 578 of the Air Force Regulations is further amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1a.) the words " Seventeen dollars " and inserting in their stead the words " Twenty-one dollars ".
(3.) The rates of travelling allowance specified in the table in sub-regulation (1.) of regulation 578 of the Air Force Regulations as amended by these Regulations apply to and in relation to travelling allowance payable in respect of the fourteenth day of February, 1966, or any subsequent day.
(4.) The rate of travelling allowance specified in sub-regulation (1a.) of regulation 578 of the Air Force Regulations as amended by these Regulations applies to and in relation to travelling allowance payable to an officer of the Air Force serving as Chairman, Chiefs of Staff Committee, or Chief of the Air Staff in respect of the sixteenth day of March, 1966, or any subsequent day.

(2.) The rates of allowance specified in the table in sub-regulation (8.) of regulation 590 of the Air Force Regulations as amended by these Regulations apply to and in relation to the allowance to cover incidental expenditure payable, in accordance with regulation 590 of the Air Force Regulations, in respect of the fourteenth day of February, 1966, or any subsequent day.
