REGULATIONS UNDER THE AIR FORCE ACT 1923-1973.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Air Force Act 1923-1973.

Amendments of the Air Force Regulations 

Hard-lying allowance

1. Regulation 556l of the Air Force Regulations is amended by omitting sub-regulation (3) and substituting the following sub-regulation:—

“(3) The rate at which hard-lying allowance is payable is $1.00 per day.”.

Rates of travelling allowance.

2. Regulation 578 of the Air Force Regulations is amended by omitting the table in sub-regulation (1) and substituting the following table:—

3. Regulation 590 of the Air Force Regulations is amended by omitting the table in sub-regulation (8) and substituting the following table:—

5. The Seventh Schedule of the Air Force Regulations is repealed and the following Schedule substituted:—

Application.

6. (1) The amendments of the Air Force Regulations made by regulations 1, 4 and 5 apply to and in relation to service, other than continuous full-time service, by a member of the Citizen Air Force or of the Air Force Emergency Force on or after 1 July 1974.

(2) The amendments of the Air Force Regulations made by regulations 2 and 3 shall be deemed to have come into operation on 30 May 1974.
