Air Force Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Salary of members holding the rank of Corporal or a lower rank

1. Regulation 549 of the Air Force Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (5) “Part I of”; and

(b) by omitting paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (6) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(a) the relativities among musterings recommended by the reports of the Committee of Reference for Defence Force Pay on the placement of other rank employment categories presented to the Minister on 9 March 1978 and on the adequacy of Defence Force remuneration presented to the Minister on 4 November 1981;”.

Salary of Warrant Officers, Flight Sergeants and Sergeants

2. Regulation 549a of the Air Force Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting from sub-regulation (3) “or is in receipt of higher duty allowance”; and

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (3) “or been in receipt of higher duty allowance”.

Repeal

3. Regulation 552 of the Air Force Regulations is repealed.

Application

4. The Air Force Regulations as amended by paragraph 1 (a) of this Interim Determination shall be deemed to have come into operation on 5 November 1981.
