Air Force Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR DEFENCE, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Issue of uniform on first appointment or enlistment

1. Regulation 572 of the Air Force Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting sub-regulation (1); and

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “under sub-regulation (1)” and substituting “at the expense of the Commonwealth”.

Repeal

2. Regulations 573a, 574, 575 and 597 of the Air Force Regulations are repealed.

Issue of uniforms and necessaries

3. Regulation 645b of the Air Force Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting sub-regulation (1); and

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “under sub-regulation (1)” and substituting “at the expense of the Commonwealth”.

4. Regulation 648 of the Air Force Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting sub-regulation (1); and

(b) by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “under sub-regulation (1)” and substituting “at the expense of the Commonwealth”.
