REGULATIONS UNDER THE AIR FORCE ACT 1923-1973.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Air Force Act 1923-1973.

1. Regulation 646 of the Air Force Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting the table in sub-regulation (2) and substituting the following table:—

Application.

3. The rates of active pay provided for in the Air Force Regulations as amended by these Regulations apply in relation to service, other than continuous full-time service, by a member of the Citizen Air Force or of the Air Force Emergency Force on and after 30 May 1974.

Transitional.

4. Where an officer of the Chaplain’s Branch of the Citizen Air Force who held an appointment of Principal Air Chaplain during the period from and including 1 November 1973 to and including 29 May 1974 or during any part of that period, the officer is entitled to be paid in respect of his service during that period while holding that appointment, as additional active pay, an amount equal to the amount by which the active pay paid or payable to him in respect of that service is less than the active pay that would have been payable to him if he had been entitled to be paid active pay at the rate of $37.69 per day.
