State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under
section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act
1979.

Definitions
1. Regulation 577 of the
Air Force Regulations is amended by omitting the definition of “capital city”.
Repeal
2. Regulations 579, 580,
581, 582, 583 and 584 of the Air Force Regulations are repealed.
Allowances
3. Regulation 645a of the Air Force Regulations is
amended by omitting paragraph (d) of sub-regulation (2).
Allowances and other benefits
4. Regulation 647 of the
Air Force Regulations is amended by omitting paragraph (d) of sub-regulation
(2).
Application
5. This Interim
Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 0401,
Travelling Allowance, is made under section 58b
of the Defence Act 1903.
