Air Force Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE MINISTER OF STATE FOR AVIATION acting for and on behalf of the Minister of State for Defence, hereby make the following Interim Determination under section 12 of the Defence Amendment Act 1979.

Definitions

1. Regulation 120 of the Air Force Regulations is amended by omitting the definitions of “flying member”, “recreation leave” and “year”.

Repeal

2. Regulations 121 and 533 of the Air Force Regulations are repealed.

Leave without pay

3. Regulation 134 of the Air Force Regulations is amended

(a) by omitting sub-regulation (1);

(b) by omitting from sub-regulations (2) and (4) “this regulation” and substituting “Determination 2608, Leave Without Pay, made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903”; and

(c) by omitting from sub-regulation (4) “The” and substituting “Subject to determinations made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903, the”.

Application

4. This Interim Determination shall take effect on the day on which Determination 2608, Leave Without Pay, is made under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903.
