Air Force Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Air Force Act 1923.

Delegation of powers by Minister, Air Board and members of the Air Board

1. Regulation 7 of the Air Force Regulations is amended by omitting “Defence Force Staff” (wherever occurring) and substituting “the Defence Force”.

Delegation of power to make appointments and promotions

2. Regulation 45aof the Air Force Regulations is amended by omitting “Defence Force Staff” and substituting “the Defence Force”.

Repeal of regulations 442aand 442b

3. Regulations 442a and 442b of the Air Force Regulations are repealed.

Assignments of pay, allowances, &c., not permitted

4. Regulation 529a of the Air Force Regulations is amended—

(a) by omitting “by these Regulations or any other regulations under the Act or under the Act and any other Act or Acts” and substituting “by a prescribed provision”; and

(b) by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:

“(2) In sub-regulation (1), “prescribed provision” means—

(a) a provision of these Regulations;

(b) a provision of any other regulations under the Act or under the Act and any other Act or Acts; or

(c) a provision of a determination in force under section 58b of the Defence Act 1903.”.
