Air Force Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
I, THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE
GOVERNMENT of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the
Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the
Dated 13 June 1985.

AMENDMENTS OF AIR FORCE REGULATIONS
Repeal the regulation.
(a) Omit the definition of “active service”, substitute the following definition:
“ ‘active service’ has the same meaning as in the
Defence Force Discipline Act 1982 ;”.(b) Omit the definitions of “air-force convict”, “air-force offence”, “air-force prison”, “air-force prisoner”, “airman under sentence”, “airman under sentence of detention”, “air officer”, “air service” or “air-force service”, “civil prison”,

“commanding officer”, “custom of the service”, “defaulter”, “enemy”, “penal servitude prison”, “place of detention”, “place of imprisonment”, “proper air-force authority”, “subordinate commander”, “the Air Force Act”, “the Contract Board”, “the Rules of Procedure”, “war service”.
Repeal the regulations.
Omit “war”, substitute “active”.
After paragraph (d), insert the following paragraph:
“(da) having been absent without leave for a period exceeding 3 months;”.
Repeal the Part.
Repeal the Part.
Repeal the regulation.
Repeal the regulation.
Omit “an air-force”, substitute “a service”.
Omit the paragraph, substitute the following paragraph:
“(b) ‘service

(b) Omit “pay whether by award of his commanding officer or otherwise”, substitute “salary”.
Repeal the regulation, substitute the following regulation:
“562. Where a member’s pay account shows a debit balance a prescribed authority may direct that any allotment made by the member shall be reduced or suspended until the debit is liquidated.”.
Omit “war”, substitute “active”.
Repeal the regulation.
Omit the Forms.
Repeal the Schedules.
