Air Force Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Air Force Act 1923.

Regulation 462 of the Air Force Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:

Reservists proceeding abroad

“462. (1) A member of the Air Force Reserve who proposes to become or has become a permanent resident in another country shall notify the Chief of the Air Staff in writing.

“(2) Where a member of the Air Force Reserve notifies the Chief of the Air Staff in accordance with subregulation (1), the Chief of the Air Staff shall:

(a) if the member is an officer, recommend the termination of the officer’s appointment; or

(b) if the member is an airman, discharge the airman.”.
