Air Force Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Air Force Act 1923.

Retiring ages for officers

1. Regulation 88 of the Air Force Regulations is amended by omitting item 6 from the table in subregulation (1) and substituting the following item:

“6 Wing Commander

55

55”.

2. Regulation 88 of the Air Force Regulations, as in force immediately before the commencement of these Regulations, continues to apply to an officer who, immediately before the commencement of these Regulations, held the substantive rank of Wing Commander in the General Duties Branch, being an officer nominated, with the consent of the officer, by the Chief of the Air Staff for the purposes of this regulation.
