Air Force Regulations 2(Amendment)

I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Air Force Act 1923.

1.   Commencement

1.1   These Regulations commence on 1 December 1996.

2.   Amendment

2.1   The Air Force Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3.   Regulation 527 (Interpretation)

3.1   Omit the regulation.

4.   Regulation 530 (Commencement, calculation and cessation of pay)

4.1   Omit the regulation.

5.   Regulation 535 (Deductions in respect of past service)

5.1   Omit the regulation.

6.   Regulation 536 (Semi-official debts)

6.1   Omit “of the Air Force”.

6.2   Add at the end:

 “(2) In this regulation:

‘member’ means:

  • (a)

    a member of the Permanent Air Force; or

  • (b)

    a member of the Air Force Emergency Force or the Air Force Reserve, rendering continuous full-time service.”.

7.   Regulation 537 (Minimum drawing rate)

7.1   Omit the regulation.

8.   Division 5 of Part XI (Rations, Quarters and Allowances in Lieu Thereof)
