Air Force Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
REGULATIONS UNDER THE AIR FORCE ACT 1923-1956.*
I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth
of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby
make the following Regulations under the

AMENDMENTS OF THE AIR FORCE REGULATIONS.
(2.) Flight pay is payable to a member of the Permanent Air Force, in accordance with the provisions of regulation 553D of the Air Force Regulations as amended by the last preceding sub-regulation, in respect of any period of appointment as a member of the crew of a helicopter commencing on or after the first day of November, 1962.
"(1.) Subect to the next succeeding sub-regulation, an officer of the medical branch of the Permanent Air Force who is a qualified medical or dental practitioner, and an officer of the Women's Royal Australian Air Force Branch who is such a practitioner, may be paid an allowance at the rate specified, in relation to the officer's rank, in the following table:—

(2.) The allowance provided for in regulation 556c of the Air Force Regulations is payable to an officer of the medical branch of the Permanent Air Force, in accordance with that regulation as amended by the last preceding sub-regulation, in respect of service as an officer of that branch on and after the first day of December, 1960.
"557.—(1.) Subject to the next succeeding sub-regulation, a member may make an allotment of his pay and allowances to or for the benefit of a person approved by a prescribed authority or to a bank account approved by a prescribed authority.
"(2.) An allotment shall not be made for the purposes of the last preceding sub-regulation so that the unallotted balance of the pay and allowances of the member is less than an amount per day equal to one-tenth of the member's daily rate of active pay.
"(3.) In this regulation, references to allowances shall be read as not including references to uniform allowance.".
