REGULATIONS
UNDER THE AIR FORCE ACT 1923-1956.*
I,
THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the
advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations
under the Air Force Act 1923-1956.

REPEAL OF THE AIR FORCE (CANTEENS)
REGULATIONS.
Commencement.
1. These Regulations shall
come into operation on the first day of July, 1959.
Repeal.
2. The Air Force
(Canteens) Regulations, being Statutory Rules 1957, No. 48, are repealed.
Assets
and liabilities.
3. The assets and
liabilities of the Royal Australian Air Force Canteens Service Board shall,
upon the repeal of the Regulations referred to in the last preceding regulation
become assets and liabilities of the Australian Services Canteens Organization
Board of Management constituted by the Australian Services Canteens
Organization Regulations in accordance with the provisions of those
Regulations.
Committee
of trustees to apply moneys held at the date of commencement of these
Regulations.
4. Where moneys are,
immediately before the commencement of these Regulations, held by a committee
of trustees by virtue of regulation 21 of the Air Force (Canteens) Regulations,
those moneys shall be applied for the object and in the manner approved by the
Minister for the purposes of that regulation.
