BOARD.

AN ACT to amend the Agriculture Protection

Board Act, 1950-1964.

[Assented to 8th December, 1970.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Agriculture alViattn.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act may be cited as the Agriculture Protection Board Act, 1950-1970.

B. B amended. 2. Section 8 of the principal Act is amended by

adding after the word, "Act" in line four of paragraph (b), the passage, ", and the transfer of moneys standing to the credit of the Protection Fund to accounts maintained under or for the purposes of the Noxious Weeds Act and the Vermin Act".

amended. 3. Subsections (2) and (3) of section 11 of the

principal Act are repealed and the following sub-

section substituted

(2) Without other authorisation than the provisions of this Act, the Commission shall in each year make to the Protection Fund, for the purpose of assisting in meeting expenditure in respect of the control, prevention and eradication of vermin and noxious weeds, and the general expenses of the Protection Board, a contribution of six thousand dollars. .
