AN ACT to amend the Agriculture Protection

Board Act, 1950-1960.

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most ExcellentMajesty, by and with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

and citation. 1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Agriculture

Protection Board Act Amendment Act, 1964.

2. Section eight of the principal Act is amended amended.

by adding after paragraph (g), the following

paragraph-

(ga) purchasing, taking on lease, or otherwise acquiring, upon such terms and conditions as the Minister may approve, any real or personal pr op e r t y whatsoever as the Protection Board may think requisite for carrying into effect the objects and purposes of this Act, and from time to time selling, exchanging, letting, or otherwise disposing of any real or personal property acquired by or vested in the Protection Board for the purposes of this Act; .

3. Section eleven of the principal Act is s- amended.

amended—

(a)	by inserting after the word, "of" in line two of paragraph (b) of subsection (2), the words, "not less than";
(b)	by substituting for the words, "the last preceding subsection" in lines four and five of subsection (3), the passage, "paragraph (a) of subsection (2) of this section"; and
(c)	by substituting for the words, "of onehundred and five thousand pounds

mentioned in" in lines six and seven of subsection (3), the passage, "mentioned in paragraph (b) of".
