EDMUND CASEY Minister for Primary Industries AGRICULTURAL STANDARDS AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1991 ˙ Short title 1. These regulations may be cited as the Agricultural Standards Amendment Regulations 1991 . ˙ Amended regulations 2. The Agricultural Standards Regulations 1984 are amended as set out in these regulations. ˙ Amendment of Third Schedule 3.(1) Third Schedule (Part A)— omit, insert —

Fee $32.00 $80.00 $32.00 $80.00 $80.00 $32.00 $80.00 $80.00 . ‘ (2) The application fee is not payable if the application relates to a change of the registered name of an agricultural requirement and the change is sought— (a) following a specific request of the standards officer to make the change; or (b) in order to comply with an Act or statutory instrument or a law of the Commonwealth, another State or a Territory. ‘2.(1) The fee for registration or provisional registration of an agricultural requirement is $90.00. ‘(2) The registration fee is not payable if the registration relates to a change of the registered name of an agricultural requirement and the change is sought— (a) following a specific request of the standards officer to make the change; or (b) in order to comply with an Act or statutory instrument or a law of the Commonwealth, another State or a Territory.

The fee for renewal of registration is $90.00. ‘4.(1) The fee for an application for approval to alter a claim as to efficacy of an agricultural requirement is $16.00. ‘(2) The application fee is not payable if the alteration is sought— (a) following a specific request of the standards officer to make the alteration; or (b) in order to comply with an Act or statutory instrument or a law of the Commonwealth, another State or a Territory. ’. (3) Third Schedule (Part D)— omit, insert — ‘PART D ‘1. For the purposes of section 71(4) of the Act, the charges for supervision by an inspector are— (a) $22.00 per hour or part of an hour between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays); and (b) $33.00 per hour or part of an hour outside the hours mentioned in paragraph (a) (excluding Sundays and Public Holidays); and (c) $44.00 per hour or part of an hour on Sundays and Public Holidays. ‘2. If, for the purposes of undertaking supervision, an inspector— (a) is required to attend at a place; and (b) the attendance does not occur during the inspector’s routine visit to the area in which the place is situated; a travelling fee at the rate prescribed for supervision under clause 1 is chargeable. ‘3.(1) If, for the purposes of undertaking supervision, an inspector is required to be absent from the inspector’s normal headquarters overnight an allowance is chargeable. ‘(2) The allowance is chargeable at the rate provided for an officer of the public service (paid at a salary level less than a minimum Band 2 level) determined in accordance with the Public Service Management and Employment Regulations 1988. ’.
